What a Representation is/Meaning?

What a stereotype is?
A Characteristic and attributes to groups of people that is a popular belief but not true.
Why are stereotypes used?
It simplify character portrayals, convey information quickly, and sometimes exploit audience biases for narrative convenience or humor.
What Social groups are represented in media?
Religion, Gender, Age. Race/Ethnicity, Social Class, LGBT, Disability

POSITIVE:
Bule helps Clean Bali's River
What is the group?
Bules or Foreign Tourists
How are they represented?
Good, Nice, Helpful, Kind and Thoughtful
What is the reason for this?
Inform that the Stereotypes of Bules are not all true and that some can be kind and smart.
How does the audience recieve this message?
As a Balinese citizen(Who the media is for), these kind of news are not seen much but are very heart warming to see foreigners do the jobs that we were meant for.
