  Here are the problems that I've faced while learning and developing my Magazine Problem 1(and only): Text was overflowing or going outside of the box, I need it to go under as if I pressed enter before it overlaps the border. Solution: I looked around the options on the top of the site and found Wrap Text in Format that I remembered a long time ago while studying how to use Sheets that it Wraps the text to either Overflow, Wrap or Clip. The Option I was lookign for was Wrap which made the overlapping text fit inside the given space. Reflection: As I only faced one technical problem and it was easily fixed, I didn't seem to have any other hardships in the technical aspects of things and so I continued to do my work smoothly.

  Here are the terminologies that I learned about magazines Reflection: With these terminologies, I can do my work easier to find examples of each magazine parts and see how its supposed to be done and how each parts are supposed to contain.

  This is the research and development of my double page spread. Reflection:  I found out that magazines use things like pull quotes, the way they talk to the readers, and how they arrange stuff on the page to tell a specific message to their readers. It's simple for me to include details like the magazine name, issue, who made it, and what type it is because I just look at the cover. But it's tough and takes a lot of time for me to explain what an article is about and what I can use for my project from the research on the double-page spread.

With the statement of Intent, I now know what kinds of Demographics and Psychographics to do, What my magazine needs to contain and what not to contain. I was told to also have a secondary target audeince which mine was an older audience that are interested in Balinese Architecture. This serves as a backup plan and a way to target and sell to more audiences using the same genre.

Then they use certain pictures and words on the cover to attract those readers. I can do the same for my magazine project. I just need to figure out who I want to read it (like guys who are into motorcycles and are between 16 and 30) and then use things that would interest them, like a picture of someone riding a motorcycle on the cover.  For genres, I learned that magazines in the same category need to be kind of the same so people know what to expect, but also a bit different to keep things interesting.   Here is the research of my magazine. BIG ANALYSIS Media Language The genre convention of a Tourism and Culture shows a unique and unfamiliar clothing or lifestlye. This magazine confirms this as it shows a one and only dancing uniform from Bali worn by the children, directly showing the different culture for someone foreign and traveling to Bali. The cover image features two young Balinese boys in vibrant traditional dancing costumes, creating an exotic and culturally rich atmosphere. The use of the "udeng" and Balinese masks signifies the magazine's focus on traditional Balinese culture. The bold and prominent title, "The Echo," helps establish the magazine's brand identity and capture the reader's attention.   Here is the brief for component 1. I have decided to choose the magazine option. Reflection: I had zero to no interest at first learning about magazines, but I figured the design aspect could be of use for me and the knowledge of why some sell more than others could be useful too. With this knowledge I could thrive in businesses better and have a better opportunity in gaining the things I need.
